THOSE GURUSLet me tell you what a guru is: He is an Internet Marketer. He or she is your competition! If you keep pouring your money into his pockets you will go broke. There is a way to remove yourself from his mailing list. Just click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of his email. But should you do that? Not if you are learning from him. Learn from the gurus. Look at their websites. Look at there PPC ads. Look at their emails. Study their techniques. You want to be a guru, not support one. Much of the stuff the gurus put out is just junk available free elsewhere on the Internet. Never buy anything from a guru until after you have Googled it looking for scams, reviews, and comments. Over the years, I bought a lot of stuff from gurus. I learned that they never tell you exactly what they are doing. They never reveal their true secrets. Lot's of gurus give out tons of information but you can get it free on the Net. If you find a guru, RUN! One Last Warning: Don't Copy the Gurus!Gurus are salesmen. They design a product and then write a pitch page. Don't copy the guru's techniques on your content pages. You are an affiliate marketer. That means you deliver content to help your clients whether in your articles, emails, or on your website. You let your vendors do the selling. You are doing what is called PreSell. You writer your content and provide your affiliate links. You do not try to sell. You want to give your readers a good feeling about YOU. You want them to be open minded to your vendor's sales pitch. YOU DO NOT SELL unless, of course, you are a guru with your own product being recommended by a flock of affiliates.HUM? If you create your own digital product, you should consider ClickBank to publish it. They have an army of affiliates that can bring in tons of cash TO YOU! The setup fee was $50.00 the last time I looked. Cheap! |
