Einstein Is Our Teacher: Doing Things the Same Old Way Doesn’t Work

We humanoids are creatures of habit. Once we learn how to do something, that tends to be the way that we always do it. This can actually lead us to failure.

Thinking Outside the box

Thinking Outside the box

In business, we need to walk on new paths. We need to stray off old paths. This is what we nowadays call: Thinking outside the Box.

If we never try anything new or different, then our business can suffer. If we don’t explore all the business techniques that we see others are using, we can cut ourselves short.

What Einstein Said

Read the following quotations from Albert Einstein:

We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. Albert Einstein

You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else. Albert Einstein

Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school. Albert Einstein

jackassThe difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits. Albert Einstein

A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new. Albert Einstein

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

Thomas Edison

Failure often leads us to a conclusion. The conclusion is that we should stop trying new things. What if Thomas Edison had stopped trying after the first few filaments that he tried in the electric light burned out in seconds? The fact of the matter is that someone else would’ve invented the light bulb.

Edison is a good example because once he invented something, he pushed it to the hilt. He worked as hard at making something a commercial success as he did in inventing as in the first place.

Maybe it is time for each of us to reinvent ourselves.

As we move along un-blazed trails, we feel that we are on shaky grounds. The newness of everything makes us quiver in our boots. A famous race driver said:

“If everything seems under control, you’re just not going fast enough.” Mario Andretti

Let’s move full speed ahead into new areas of thinking.
